The outfit includes parts of the Itcha- Ilgachuz Park. Some peaks of this mountain range are more than 6000 feet high. We have the license to hunt in this beautiful park area.

This part in the mountains is very remote and mostly unoccupied. We can hunt this beautiful country only with the support of float-planes and horses.

The creeks are draining down from the mountains north to the Blackwater River. In the lower parts are some nice lakes with good fishing opportunities.

We can use also ATV and trucks in this area for our hunting support. This part of the outfit is reachable from Vanderhoof by truck over a gravel road.

Our hard working guides and staff are the backbone of the outfit. Each guide has the knowledge and experience to make your hunt successful and to a experience of your lifetime.

Our main camp at Shag Creek consists of the Log Lodge and some log cabins for our guests and the guides. All cabins have wood stoves and bunk beds with foam pads. We will bring you in from Nimpo Lake with a float plane to a lake half an hour away from the Shag Creek Camp.

The camp cook will provide you with plenty of wholesome well prepared meals. This is also the place to talk about the experiences of the day.

From here we start our hunts to the mountains. We ride on horesback to our 4 outposts camps. All horseback hunting is conducted on well trained saddle horses to assist you getting the game and to make the hunt as pleasant and successful as possible.

The outpost camps are equipped differently. Some camps are tent camps with wooden floors, some are older log cabins, equipped with wood heaters.

We hunt from the main camp as well as from the spike camps.

Non hunting guests are welcome in our camps. We will have a maximum of 6 hunters with guides in the camp.
